DESCRIPTION:A World Athletics Label Road Race in Uganda \nSet against the snow-capped Rwenzori Mountains in Kasese\, Uganda\, the Tusker Lite Rwenzori Marathon is East Africa’s only World Athletics Label Road Race. \nRunners choose from four distances — 42km\, 21km\, 10km\, and 5km — starting at the Equator around Queen Elizabeth National Park and finishing with the Rwenzoris as a backdrop\, including the iconic Kilembe climb. \nSince launching in 2022\, the race has grown from 800 to nearly 10\,000 runners from 50+ countries and now serves as an official qualifier for the Comrades and Two Oceans marathons.
