Nyege Nyege Festival 2026
Now in its 11th edition, Nyege Nyege returns to Adrift Overland Camp at Kalagala Falls on the River Nile in Jinja, Uganda, from November 19–22, 2026. Born on the banks of the Nile in 2015, it has grown from an underground gathering into Africa’s most adventurous music and arts festival – Ugandan at heart, Pan-African in spirit.
Across seven stages, more than 300 artists from 40+ countries deliver four days of continuous sound spanning singeli, afrobeats, electronic outliers, and traditional music, alongside art installations, film screenings, fashion showcases, and workshops. By day, festival-goers can take on white-water rafting, bungee jumping, and sunset cruises on the Nile; by night, riverside camping keeps the experience going right on the festival grounds.
This year’s edition takes on a Wakaliwood-inspired theme, promising an even more immersive, cinematic twist on Uganda’s most iconic cultural export.
