Bakiga Nation presents: Rukundo Egumeho (10th Anniversary)
Bakiga Nation marks a decade of Rukundo Egumeho – meaning “Love Endures” in Rukiga, with its milestone 10th edition on Sunday, July 26, 2026, at Millennium Grounds, Lugogo, starting at 9AM.
The annual celebration brings together the Bakiga community and beyond for a day of music, dance, and cultural pride, honoring the traditions and identity of the Bakiga people of southwestern Uganda’s Kigezi region.
Tickets cost UGX 20,000 at the gate or can be purchased by dialing *524#. The event is supported by Pilsner Lager, ONE Cultural Diversity, Bakiga TV, DORKI, and SafeBoda, among other partners.
Attendees are reminded the event is 18+ where alcohol is served, with responsible drinking encouraged.
